Thank you Diana. I love foggy weather because it simplify things to watch (not to paint). It desaturates colors, (not very found of high chromas) and it gives a very efficient sense of depth. For me it's like when you try to remember a place: only a few details are coming back to your mind, and the rest of it is uncertain and blury. I can only encourage you to give it a try. It's a lot of fun to paint. Don't neglect coulour though, it's very very subtle, but it's there.
Beautiful. I am always very uninspired on grey days but THIS makes me want to try harder. I love the stark arresting composition and the blank spaces.
